Phil Gonyer is a young, hard working professional with extensive knowledge of the Nanaimo area. He is an excellent people person with a strong work ethic who listens to his clients’ needs and strives to exceed their expectations.
A graduate of Wellington Secondary, Phil was born and raised in Nanaimo and has been an active member of the community from a young age. Baseball is an important part of his life, having played in the United States at the university/college level for three years after high school graduation. Over the years he has continued to volunteer and coach Nanaimo's youth in baseball and is a dedicated member of the Nanaimo Coal Miners baseball team.
Prior to his work in real estate Phil’s background was in sales, where he developed a strong, natural ability in negotiations. He continues to this day to stay on top of marketing and sales trends.
Phil was raised in a professional real estate environment with his step father, Ken Walkling, having worked in the industry for 24years, and mother, Lois Walkling, worked in real estate for 7 years.
Phil resides in Nanaimo with his wife, six year old daughter Grace, three dogs and is excitedly awaiting the arrival of their second child.
